AMALFI COAST (COSTIERA AMALFITANA) is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Amalfi Coast is situated in the south of the Italian Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Province of Salerno. It starts at Positano and ends at Vietri sul Mare.
It is a rocky coastline of great beauty, sprinkled with terraced-built dwellings, where villas seem suspended in magical balance.
As soon as you have passed Positano, you will see the three Li Galli islands. Legend has it that Li Galli are the syrens that tried to lure Ullysses with the beauty of their song – and for this they were turned into the three Siranusae rocks.
