AMBER FORT (also known as Amer Fort) is situated in India, near Jaipur.

The construction started in 1592 by Maharaja Man Singh and beautiful palaces, halls, temples, gates and courtyards were built over two centuries by each of the ruling Maharajas, in a fascinating mix of Hindu and Mughal architecture with spectacular decorations.

A long procession of elephants on the serpentine road is leading to this amazing fortress.
