Situated in China, Fengdu is a complex of temples over 1800 years old, dating back to the times of the Han dynasty, built in accordance with Tao mythology.
Supposed to be lived by the king of the Land of the Dead, this is a bizzare-looking system that covers the different stages that the spirit must undergo in order to achieve reincarnation. Those found guilty will suffer in hell and then reincarnate as animals, while the other ones will be reborn as humans after a wonderful interlude in paradise.
