Situated on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, in the state of Monaco, between France and Italy, Monte Carlo is one the world’s luxury destinations.

Known especially for its famous Casino but also for its Formula One Circuit and the famed royal family Grimaldi, the town draws the world’s personalities like a magnet. The Casino complex includes the Monte Carlo Grand Theatre, Opera and Ballets. Nextdoor is the famous Hotel de Paris, built in 1864 by Charles III of Monaco. The Opera house, inaugurated by Sarah Bernhardt in 1879, was designed by architect Charles Garnier, who also designed the Paris Opera house. The Monte Carlo establishment is a small-scale replica of the Parisian landmark.
