NIAGARA FALLS is part of the national heritage of both Canada and the United States. It was declared a national park in the United States in 1885, Canada following in 1886.
Situated in the US and Canada, it is one of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls. The American width of the waterfalls is 320 m and the height is 21-30 m. The Canadian Horseshoe Falls dimensions are 790 m in width and 53 m in height. Though its height is not exceptional, Niagara is impressive through its width and very large debit.
Niagara Falls is one of the greatest natural attractions on the North-American continent. It is lit spectacularly at night-time, when it turns into a light-water show, continuously attracting people.
